Steven Williams
INDUSTRIAL ARTIST
Steven Williams is the son of a multigenerational Charlottean family and an imaginative industrial artist. In 2020 Steven began his design practice to pursue a dream deferred. In the course of that pursuit he realized his dream was too small. This realization gifted a greater vision — West Beloved.

Hasheem Halim
CITIZEN ARCHITECT
Hasheem Halim is a citizen architect who resides in the Derita neighborhood of Charlotte. From a young age he was fascinated by the way spaces and places could shape the way we feel. After moving to Charlotte in 2015, Halim has been dedicated to building community through design. With workshops centered around the different areas of design, he seeks to educate and inspire the next generation of creativity. In 2021 Halim created Derita Design. This has strengthened the efforts of building community in an overlooked neighborhood by giving the community a makerspace to experience various facets of design.

Theo Woodley
FINANCE PROFESSIONAL
Theo Woodley is a proud Charlotte native whose family has contributed to the city’s legacy since the 1950s. With many years of experience in the finance industry, Theo has become a trusted leader and resource in the community. Recently, he has embarked on a new endeavor in the fitness industry, running his family-owned cycle studio in Fourth Ward. Dedicated to ensuring Charlotte continues to have a familial and communal feel, Theo spends much of his time engaging in community events and enjoying quality moments with his wife and young son. His work reflects an unwavering commitment to the city he loves and serves.
